The story of Raindrop Flowers is a tale of serendipity. In mid-2009, after eight years in the floral industry, I was made an offer that I just couldn't refuse. The owner of a successful local gift boutique was looking for someone to open a flower shop inside her store, and lo and behold, she picked another creative local gal - me!

Though I've never been much of a gardener (I hate bugs!), I have always loved flowers. And though I can't really paint or draw, my artistic talent seems to shine right through when it comes to creating floral designs. It's a process that excites and amazes me again and again.

I got my start working at a neighborhood florist, but my style truly developed when I joined the staff at A Floral Gallery in Clayton, MO. I also gained tremendous inspiration from Daniel Whitehurst, AIFD, at the St. Louis Academy of Floral Arts and Sciences, where I graduated from the certificate program with honors.

I'm thrilled to be embarking on this new adventure with Raindrop Flowers, along with my entire family, and I look forward to serving my Ferguson community and sharing my flowers with you!
